Joe Mihovilovich was the general contractor (and carpenter) for our kitchen remodel, and he did an amazing job. Joe is a perfectionist, and he ensured that all his tasks, as well as those of his subcontractors, were performed to his high standards. Indeed, nearly a year since the remodel was completed we have found no unpleasant surprises; rather the new kitchen looks and functions even better than we envisioned. Joe was always available throughout the remodel—he patiently explained processes, made adjustments, and provided advice at each step. The remodel was not at all the messy ordeal we had feared. When we left for work early in the morning (before Joe arrived), the house would be clean of construction dirt and debris. When we returned each evening, the house would still be clean of construction dirt and debris. The only way we would know that Joe had been working in our house was by the progress he and his crew had made. Finally, Joe simply is a nice guy—fun to talk to and a pleasure to work with.
